Kinston Public Services uses several different outlets for the disposal of surplus property and equipment, such as vehicles and tools. They include online auctions, onsite auctions, and private sales.

Like alot of other government entities, we use www.GovDeals.com as our primary source for online auctions. GovDeals provides services to various government agencies that allow them to sell surplus and confiscated items via the Internet. Each participating agency has its own auction rules and regulations and may be subject to state and local ordinances. Visit www.GovDeals.com to see if we have items listed items to accept bids on.

Onsite auctions are normally held annually at the Kinston Public Services, located 2360 Hwy 258 S in Kinston. Dates and times will be advertised in print media, on our Cable Channel 2, and here at www.KinstonPublicServices.com.
